Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how AISpeaker collects, uses, processes, stores and shares information when you use our website, Chrome extension and AISpeaker apps, as applicable to the features you use.

AISpeaker is operated by NEXALIFY LIMITED, RM D07 8/F KAI TAK FTY BLDG NO.99 KING FUK ST,SAN PO KONG,HONG KONG. We are responsible for the handling of your information described in this policy. You can contact us at support@nexalify.ai.

Cloud processing: AISpeaker sends text and relevant character details to our backend and AI service providers to recommend voices and generate speech. Voice cloning sends the audio you upload to MiniMax. Automatic features can send content without a separate click for each request. Submitted content and processing results may be retained as described below.

1. Information We Collect and When

Account and authentication information

When you register or sign in, we process your email address, account identifier, authentication and session information, and account creation details. If you choose Google sign-in, Google supplies the basic profile information authorized for that sign-in, which may include your name and profile picture. Supabase manages authentication. The extension and website store session information locally to keep you signed in.

Text, character details and source websites

On supported chat websites, the extension reads relevant AI replies and character information from the page, such as the character name, introduction and tags. It can cache the page URL, character details and the first relevant reply locally for voice selection and recommendations. When you request reading, it sends the text to be read, relevant character details, the selected voice or speech settings, and the source website domain to our backend. For selected-text reading on other websites, it sends the text you ask to read and the source domain.

Auto Recommend: This setting is enabled by default in the Chrome extension. When you are signed in, the setting is enabled, and the extension detects a new conversation, it can send the character name, introduction, tags and the first relevant AI reply for voice recommendation before you click a playback button.

Auto Play: When you enable automatic reading, new AI replies can be sent for speech generation as they appear, without a separate playback click for each reply. You can turn off automatic reading and automatic recommendations in the extension settings.

Custom voice audio

When you create a custom voice, we receive the audio files you choose to upload, their filenames, and the voice name you enter. The backend processes the files, including combining multiple samples when needed, and uploads audio to MiniMax to create the cloned voice. We store the resulting voice identifier, name, provider and associated account information so you can use and manage that voice.

Usage, device and diagnostic information

When you use the service, we process account identifiers, email address, source website domain, selected voice and provider, usage quantities, request timestamps and feature source, such as chat or selected-text reading. Requests also provide technical information such as IP address, browser or app information, referrer, response status and error details. We use this information to operate the service, calculate usage and entitlements, diagnose problems and protect against abuse.

Payments and subscriptions

If you purchase a plan or credits, we process your account and email address, the plan or product, transaction and subscription identifiers, payment status, amounts and relevant purchase dates. Stripe handles website payments. Apple handles purchases made through the App Store where available. We receive the transaction and verification information needed to provide your paid entitlement; payment card details entered at Stripe checkout are collected by Stripe rather than our extension.

Website analytics, cookies and feedback

Our website uses Google Analytics and cookies or similar technologies to measure visits and interactions, such as sign-ins, installation-link clicks, plan selection and payment events. This can include browser, device and network information, cookie identifiers, page URLs and referrers, and event details such as a plan, transaction identifier, amount or currency. This website analytics flow is separate from AI processing: we do not send text read from third-party chat websites or uploaded cloning audio to Google Analytics.

If you email support or submit feedback, including an optional uninstall survey, we receive the information you provide, such as your contact details, selected reason and comments. Feedback submissions can also include account information when signed in, IP address and browser information.

2. How We Process and Use Information

We process text and character information you submit or the extension reads, as well as audio you upload, to provide text-to-speech, voice recommendations and voice cloning. Data needed for these features is sent to the relevant service providers listed in Section 3. Generated audio is returned for playback and may be cached on your device.

We also use information to:

  • Provide sign-in, account management and preference features.
  • Manage subscriptions, payments, usage limits and service entitlements.
  • Maintain service security and reliability, diagnose problems, and respond to support and privacy requests.
  • Understand relevant feature usage, improve the service and meet applicable legal obligations.

3. Who Receives Information

The following parties receive the data relevant to the services they provide. Using an AI service sends the applicable content to that service; it is not processed entirely on your device.

Privacy policy

These links provide additional information about each provider. Their service terms, privacy policies, our applicable agreements and account settings affect their handling and retention of data. Linking to a provider policy does not replace our responsibility for the processing described here.

We may also disclose relevant information when required by law or a valid legal request, or when necessary to investigate fraud or abuse and protect the security of the service. If a merger, acquisition or asset transfer affects your information, we will provide notice and obtain any consent required by applicable law and the Chrome Web Store Limited Use requirements before transferring extension user data.

4. Storage and Retention

Storage depends on the type of information and the feature used. We determine retention by the need to provide the service, manage your account, troubleshoot problems, protect against abuse, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations, rather than applying one fixed period to all data.

  • On your device: Browser storage holds session information, settings, favorite voices, per-page voice choices, page URLs and cached character or reply information. Generated audio is cached in IndexedDB. Capacity-based cache cleanup can remove older entries; it is not a fixed-time expiry. You can clear extension storage and the relevant websites' site data using browser controls.
  • Account and business records: Our server-side database stores account information, entitlements, usage, subscription and transaction records, custom voice metadata and submitted feedback. These are retained while needed for the purposes described above and are subject to applicable deletion requests and legal retention requirements.
  • Submitted content and processing results: Text submitted for reading or voice recommendation, relevant character information and generated text may be retained for service operation, troubleshooting and security. These records are not necessarily removed by deleting a voice, uninstalling the extension or deleting an account-related business record.
  • Audio processing: Audio samples pass through our backend to MiniMax. Temporary files created by our backend when merging samples are removed after that processing step. MiniMax's retention of uploaded samples and cloned voices is separate from removal of a voice in AISpeaker.
  • Providers and backups: Authentication, payment, AI and hosting providers may retain data under their applicable service terms and settings. Where backups exist, deletion from active records does not necessarily remove every backup immediately. Contact us about a specific record or provider-held data; we will explain the applicable handling and any retention limits.

5. Your Choices and Deletion Requests

  • Automatic features: Turn off Auto Play and Auto Recommend in the extension settings to stop those automatic requests. Manual reading and cloning still require cloud processing when you choose to use them. Disabling a feature does not delete previously processed information.
  • Local information: Clear extension storage and cached website data through browser controls. These are separate storage locations. Uninstalling the extension does not delete cloud data and may not remove audio cached as website data.
  • Custom voices: Removing a voice in AISpeaker removes it from your active voice list. This action does not by itself delete the uploaded audio or cloned voice held by MiniMax.
  • Website cookies: Use your browser's cookie and site-data controls to block or clear cookies. Blocking storage may affect login and preference features.
  • Access, correction and deletion: Email support@nexalify.ai to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information or account, or to raise a privacy concern. Tell us which account and data your request concerns. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify that the request is yours.

Deleting AISpeaker business records does not automatically delete your Supabase authentication record, every processing record, or data retained by payment or AI providers. We will review the relevant systems when handling your request, explain any information that must be retained, and assist with provider-side requests where applicable. Rights and exceptions depend on applicable law. Account deletion and cancellation of a paid subscription are separate requests.

6. Chrome Extension Data and Limited Use

AISpeaker's use of user data from the Chrome extension complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We limit collection, use and transfer of extension data to the disclosed voice features and related operation, maintenance, security and reliability purposes.

We do not sell extension user data, transfer it to data brokers, use it for personalized advertising, or use it to assess creditworthiness or lending eligibility. We do not collect general browsing history for advertising. Source domains and locally remembered page URLs support the voice features described in this policy.

Human access to extension user data is limited to user-authorized assistance, necessary security investigations, legal obligations, or permitted use of aggregated and anonymized information for internal operations. Transfers are limited to providing the disclosed functionality and related operations, legal requirements, abuse prevention, or a business transfer subject to the required prior consent.

7. Security and International Processing

Our service uses HTTPS for requests to its backend and the listed online services, and authentication for account-specific functions. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Avoid submitting text or audio that you do not want the service and relevant providers to process.

We are based in Hong Kong. Information may be processed or stored in other countries where our infrastructure and service providers operate, and those countries may have different data protection laws from your country. Provider-specific information is available through the links above. We handle international processing in accordance with applicable requirements.

8. Children's Privacy

AISpeaker is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take steps to remove it. Where applicable law requires parental consent at a higher age, that requirement also applies.

9. Other Websites

The chat websites on which AISpeaker operates have their own privacy practices for information you provide directly to them. Their policies apply separately from AISpeaker's processing of content for voice features. Links to other websites do not mean that those websites follow this policy.

10. Changes to This Policy

We will publish updates on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. For material changes to how we handle information, we will provide notice through the service or another appropriate channel and obtain any new consent required before the relevant processing begins.
